Myst III: Exile is the third title in the Myst computer game series. Unlike its predecessors, Myst and Riven, it was not by Cyan, Inc., the series' creator; it was developed by Presto Studios and published by Ubisoft.
Yet, a game continued in a style of the last games, letting the streaming video player to navigate across notional worlds by clicking in prerendered images. Storyline
A story pass astir Ten years fallowing a prevent of Riven. The Stranger — Atrus's friend whose role the streaming video player requires around everthing of the Myst series games — arrives within a fresh residence of Atrus & Catherine, the beautiful little oasis surrounded by a desert. Catherine calls this place "Tomahna" (in Uru: Ages Beyond Myst, it is explained that Tomahnthe is non a separate Age, but actually the little locality placed olympic games). Atrus has known as a Alien to Tomahna to show him his fresh Age known as "Releeshahn", which he wrote for the D'ni survivors to live on. Suddenly, the mysterious human links into Atrus's learn, appearing away from thinly air, sets a survey aflare, & steals a Releeshahn linking book. He links retired, allowing a second linking book behind. This linking book leads to J'nanin, the lesson age where Atrus had hoped to teach his sons the Art of Writing many years ago.
This mysterious human is known as Saavedro (played by Brad Dourif). Twenty years ago, Atrus's sons, Sirrus & Achenar, destroyed his page age of Narayan then trapped him on the example age of J'nanin. For twenty years, Saavedro suffered a horror of believing that a lot of his humans residing in his homeworld were dead. Today, Saavedro is ingesting retaliatiin on Atrus & his personal for the suffering he has experienced to survive. Saavedro doesn't understand though that Atrus has already imprisoned his sons for the ugly crimes it committed.
Ages
A structure of Exile is quite simillar to Myst. J'nanin is the "hub" age, in which a alien must solve various puzzles to benefit access to the trine example ages of Edanna, Amateria & Voltaic. Within every one ages the alien must solve extra puzzles to uncover a symbol to bring back to J'nanin. When a alien finds altogether ternary symbols, s/he profits access to the final age; Narayan, Saavedro's homeworld.
